"You can clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves
your arms too full to embrace the present."
~Jan Glidewell
That is exactly what I am doing...so, I recognize what I am doing, I acknowledge it is not productive and healthy to my life and wellbeing...so...the big question is---now what will I do about this???...and even bigger than the question is the answer...I know it lies in my relationship with GOD. and I beg him, like the slowest child in class, to show me the answers and please place them clearly, hugely ---IN FRONT OF MY EYES...PLEASE REPEAT THEM OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, UNTIL I GET IT, UNDERSTAND IT, ACCEPT IT AS TRUTH, AND SMILE, BECAUSE I AM READY TO USE THE ANSWERS IN MY LIFE...AND MOVE FORWARD.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT...

I would hope that we all strive to make our lives examples for others to model theirs after. But, I know that a life looked at will most assuredly have a little bit of both--example, things we are proud of, and warnings, things in our lives for others to see and say, "Whoa, I'd better learn from her mistakes, so I don't make those in my life."

MOTHERING WOMEN
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to ALL WOMEN ! God created us to mother. I was a Mother before I had my three daughters. Women are forever mothering someone, something, sometime, somehow, someway. It's what we do best. So be grateful to the women in your lives who mother you...the mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, grandmas, aunties, friends, teachers, nurses...all of them who care for you, nurture you, uplift you, encourage you, and inspire you in so many ways to be better. God bless them and celebrate them every day.

AND THE BUD SHALL BLOSSOM...
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

BOOKS BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS
My background on my blog is BOOKS. I love them. One of my fifth grade students, Lily, once wrote, "I cannot imagine a world without books." And I totally agree. I have so many faavorites. What is one of your favorite books and why?
